Welcome to Moonlight Villa

Villa Moonlight is a stunningly designed luxury rental property overlooking the Indian Ocean on the south-west tip of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula. Perched above a steep river gorge, and featuring an abundance of glass to maximize the spectacular 360-degree view of forest, ocean and mountains, this multi-leveled four-bedroom villa with 15-metre pool, has private access directly onto the pristine Suluban Beach and is just a few minutes’ drive from many other of the island’s best surfing beaches.

About Moonlight Villa

Accommodation and facilities include four air-conditioned bedrooms, complete with glamorous ensuite bathrooms, an open plan living and dining area incorporating a fully equipped feature kitchen, and an upstairs sitting room, which offers the choice of open air living or air-conditioned comfort. There is also a rooftop terrace and an entertainment terrace, as well as a very spacious poolside lounge and bar.

This refreshingly different holiday villa in Bali is complemented by terraced gardens full of flowers, ponds, water features, and a 15-metre swimming pool resting beside a smooth flat lawn. A private pathway at the side of the villa gives guests direct access to Suluban beach; a favourite amongst surfers.

There are four air-conditioned bedrooms at Moonlight Villa, including the master suite. Each is located at a different level to ensure privacy and maximise the breathtaking views.

Two bedroom features a polished timber floor and another two are marble. Rooms are complemented by custom-made dark wood furnishings including sofas and ottomans. Three bedrooms have king size beds, and one has twin beds, which convert to a king bed.

Each bedroom presents a different colour theme through the use of sumptuous fabrics and attractive artwork; each is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a 24” satellite channel TV and DVD player, a safe deposit box, a hairdryer, and a choice of luxurious pillows. Adjoining dressing areas are fitted with wardrobes and large wall mirrors.

Each ensuite bathroom boasts a six-jet Jacuzzi tub for two, crafted in black polished granite with a handheld shower in the tub, a vanity unit with stylish twin chrome washbasins, and a toilet behind a glass door. A thoughtful array of customised bath amenities has been created using Moonlight’s Villa’s own recipes. Three of the bedrooms have got walk-in rainshowers. Each room also offers a private balcony or terrace furnished with a daybed for relaxing.

The Master Suite is positioned next to a relaxing water cascade and includes a living area with a segmented sofa and a desk. The ensuite bathroom, with its eight-jet Jacuzzi tub, leads into a private walled garden area featuring a rainshower sheltered under a pergola roof.

Villa Location

Villa Moonlight is located on the most south-westerly tip of Bali’s beautiful Bukit Peninsula, a limestone plateau rising sharply from the sea, fringed by steep cliffs and some of the best surfing beaches in the world, including Blue Point, Padang Padang, Bingin, Dreamland and Balangan.

A private pathway at the side of the villa gives guests direct access to secluded Suluban Beach which, with its clear water and pristine white sands, is a favorite amongst surfers and beach junkies alike. For a few dollars, surfers can have their boards carried back up to the villa after a memorable day out on the waves.

Villa Moonlight is only half an hour’s drive from Bali’s international airport and 45 minutes from the endless shopping, vibrant nightlife and international restaurants of Kuta and Seminyak. The world-class Bali Golf and Country Club is within a 25-minute drive, while the 18-hole, championship course, New Kuta Golf Pecatu, is only ten minutes away. Laid out over 85 hectares above Dreamland Beach, this course was designed by Ronald Fream; its signature no.15 hole commanding splendid views. Ubud – Bali’s centre for fine arts and cultural performances – lies approximately an hour and a half’s drive to the north. Throughout the island, a rich mosaic of cultures, tastes, sights and sounds delight visitors, together with a wide array of activities, including tennis, horseback riding, dive schools, sailing cruises and much more.

Moonlight Villa boasts a dedicated team of staff (their positions and responsibilities outlined below) to service guests in the villa. There is one villa manager, three villa attendant, three cooks, two security guards, one gardener, one pool attendant.

Food and Beverage

Moonlight Villa boasts a dining service with a wonderful array of international dishes. Many Western meals are available, but we recommend you to try some of the local Balinese dishes for a unique cultural experience! Should you have a request for a dish not on the menu, or a special dietary requirement, please feel free to ask the chef, who will strive to comply with all of your wishes.

Guests at Moonlight Villa can enjoy massages in the privacy of the villa or in any outdoor setting. Traditional Balinese massage is a remedy that has been used by Balinese villagers for many generations to relieve muscular aches and pains and boost circulation after long days of toiling in the rice fields. Massage treatments are provided by an outside spa therapist, and a menu of options detailing the various treatments is provided in the villa’s in-house documentation; the staff is on hand to assist with appointments.
