BEDROOM

The master bedroom is positioned on the upper floor and accessed via an external staircase. The two guest rooms are situated on ground level and each is accessed via glass sliding doors, which open directly to the pool. The master room is furnished with a beautiful antique king-size bed, and an antique kartini chair/wooden chaise longue. The hanging lamps hang above the bed and the room is equipped with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and a 40-inch satellite channel TV. Glass doors open to a narrow balcony, which overlooks the pool and garden, from here you can just glimpse a few of the bay over the rooftops. The bathroom is the same as the downstairs bathrooms, with two washbasins and an outdoor shower open to the sky.

Guest room one features a merbau wood floor and is furnished with a queen-size, a chaise longue, bedside tables and lamps, its white walls decorated with a Balinese painting and a full-length mirror. The room is cooled by a choice of air-conditioning or a ceiling fan under a flat roof ceiling, as well as a 32-inch satellite channel TV. The en-suite bathroom has a non-slip acid marble floor, twin washbasins, fitted wardrobes, and an outdoor courtyard fitted with a semi-open-air shower.

Guest room two is similar in style, but without a TV, and with a high roof and a queen size four-poster bed draped in fresh white netting. The bathroom is the same but with a single washbasin and a standing alfresco shower surrounded by high walls for privacy but open to the sky.

VILLA LOCATION

Puri Tirta Villas complex is located in the south of Bali, on the western side of the Tanjung Benoa peninsula and in close proximity from the luxury resorts, beaches and entertainment areas of Nusa Dua. The waterfront villas enjoy spectacular ocean bay views, allowing guests to watch spectacular sunsets right from the villa, and, when the skies are clear, the view of the sacred mount Agung.

Tanjung Benoa is a magnificent five kilometers long peninsula, which is much famed for its scenic views comprising beautiful coconut groves, white sandy beach, and incredible mountains. Today it is a popular resort area full of restaurants and cafes, spas and souvenir shops located less than two kilometers away from the villas. There are several beach clubs – Sakala, Tao, the de’Opera – that offer great facilities for a day trip (swimming pool, sun loungers, restaurants and bars).

Should you fancy a day on the beach, some of the luxury resorts located in Nusa Dua with its golden sand beaches and calm clear waters, such as Grand Hyatt, Nikko Bali, Nusa Dua Bali Beach Hotel, allow non-residents to use their facilities for a small charge.

In addition, it would be a great experience to take a visit to Tanjung Benoa’s quiet port, with a village-like atmosphere. Likewise, while your stay at the destination, take a tour to the Chinese Buddhist temple found here.Not far from the temple, you will find one of the most authentic restaurants in Bali – Surya that serves fresh seafood with a bit of Chinese flavor.

VILLA SERVICES & FACILITIES

Villa Cempaka is part of Puri Tirta Villas, a private villa complex located on the waterfront on the Tanjung-Benoa peninsula in south Bali, only a stone’s throw from the world renowned resorts and white sand beaches of Nusa Dua. A small pathway leads you from the parking lot through tropical greenery right to the pier housing a private boat, which can take you to explore the nearby beaches, the authentic fisherman’s town on Serangan ‘Turtle’ Island, or even on fishing and snorkeling expeditions.

There are kayaks available to take out onto the harbour and explore the nearby mangroves. When the tide is high, guests can rent a jet-ski from the nearby water sports centre or go parasailing or on a fun banana boat trip right off the Puri Tirta pier.

Down a plant strewn, white stone walkway, one comes to a multi-coloured door reminiscent of brightly decorated fishing boats that so characterise the seafaring history of the local community. Entering over the threshold into Villa Cempaka’s tropical garden one immediately sees the possibilities of the good times ahead, for the villa is super-comfortable, contemporary in design and outfitted with all the necessities for a splendid Bali holiday in the sun.

An 8 x 5m pool dominates the garden and is accessed by stone steps where children can paddle withy ease. A bale bengong relaxation pavilion sits in the corner of the garden and hovers above the water and provides the perfect platform for some acrobatic diving action. The villa is comprised of two pavilions, one two-storey and the other a single level dwelling housing bedroom two. On the ground floor and accessed through full-length, bi-folding French doors is the spacious living/ dining/ kitchen area where all of the good living takes place.

A kitchen sits to one end, there’s a dining table for eight in the middle and a large and comfortable L-shaped rattan sofa facing a home cinema system with a large flatscreen TV takes up the other end of the room. More folding doors open up at the back of the room to allow for great cross-ventilation, with the added advantage of having water features and koi ponds to add to the ambience. Bedroom one is located on the ground floor of this building and is accessed via the garden.

A stairway leads up from the dining room to the master suite, complete with its own balcony, and there is also a covered rooftop balcony with a soft Balinese daybed, which looks out over the harbour and the perfect place to chill out. All bedrooms are en-suite and have full amenities, air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
