Terms & Conditions

Payment terms

  • In order to secure the booking, a deposit of 50% of the rental amount must be received by Paradise Villa Rental within five (5) days after confirmation of reservation has been given. 
  • Full payment is required within five (5) days if the booking is made less than 50 days prior to arrival (or 65 days for peak season bookings).
  • Final payment is required 50 days prior to arrival in low and high season (or 65 days for peak season booking)
  • For last minute bookings (within 10 days or less prior to arrival), full payment is due immediately to secure the booking.

cancellation

  • Deposit and final payments are non-refundable.
  • Notice of cancellations must be received in writing.
  • Final payments are non-refundable.
  • We highly recommend to all of our clients to take out a comprehensive travel insurance to cover you for any losses in case you need to cancel your booking for any reason

Changes of booking

A US$ 75 administration fee will apply to each change after a booking has been confirmed, and changes can be accommodated only if the dates are still open for the same villa.    

Booking procedures

  • We can hold enquires for 2 working days without booking confirmation from the date you have enquired if there is no other enquiry from other party. All enquiries are handled based on first confirm with payment.
  • Be aware that all clients will be asked to sign a waiver of liability and a credit card authorization form which will allow us to charge the card for damages and any additional charges that the clients incur whilst at the villa.

Check in and check out time

  • The mandatory check in time is 2 PM.
  • The mandatory check out time is 11 AM.
  • In cases where there is no other booking for the same day, the villa may extend the check out time until 3 PM. Late check out prior to 6 PM will incur a half-night rate. Late check out past 6 PM incurs a full night rate.
  • Late check out or early check in is subject to availability of the villa.

payment

payment by telegraphic transfer

For Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payments we require the full rental charge amount to be received in our US Dollar Bank Account. At time of reservation we will inform you of our bank account details. Any bank transfer fees including corresponding bank charges are to be applied to your own bank account.

payment by credit card authorization

  • Payment by Credit Card Debit Authorization is also available by Visa and Master Card only. The Bank will apply a 3% Credit Card charge.
  • All Credit Card payments in Indonesia require to be converted into the local Rupiah currency. Credit card payments are calculated on the banks exchange rate on the day of processing. Differences in personal statement balance can occur and are due to the fluctuations with the Indonesian Rupiah and length bank processing time. Paradise Villa Rental cannot be held responsible for these differences.
  • For all Credit Card Transactions we require the following to be returned by facsimile to enable us to complete a Credit Card transaction.
    • a photocopy of your Credit Card, front and back with the Credit card numbers printed clearly
    • a photocopy of the first page of your Passport with photograph and Passport no.
    • a signed Debit Authorization Form
  • As all villa bookings are on a first come first served basis, we recommend that you settle the payment as soon as possible.
  • Upon receipt of your written confirmation to book a villa we can hold the villa booking open for 7 workings days to allow for the process of payment.

Payments by Cash

  • In the case of last minute bookings, where is it impractical or very difficult for the hirer to make a deposit by TT, we will accept a credit card authorization form which will need to be used to ensure payment requirements are met. This form will need to be accompanied by photocopies of both sides of the credit card, a photocopy of holder's passport, and written authorization.
  • Payment by cash is acceptable in US Dollar. Cash payments should be made in newest series ( F, G, H series), unmarked USD banknotes & large denomination notes would be highly appreciated.

events and parties

  • Normal bookings are for vacation purposes and special permissions must be obtained for functions where the number of people in attendance exceeds 150% of the capacity of the villa. Also clients should be aware that these are private villas located in residential neighbourhoods and, as such, not all functions or events can necessarily be accommodated. Much depends on the vagaries of the neighbourhood's residents.
  • If you are planning to hold an event such as a wedding or any large congregation of people at your villa it would be best to bring this to The Management Company's attention as soon as possible.
  • Please be aware that normally The Management Company will not accept a booking involving a function without prior confirmation that a function coordinator has been employed. The Management Company can recommend a suitable coordinator where required.
  • The Management Company have rules governing villa usage for events and parties and a surcharge of up to the equivalent of a night's rental price is applicable, in addition to a local community ('Banjar') fee.

damage or losses

The hirer is responsible for leaving the property in good order and in a clean condition. The hirer further undertakes to pay for any damages or losses incurred during occupation. The Management Company reserves the right to repossess the property if the hirer or a member of the party has caused excessive damage.

numbers in party / suitability

The numbers of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stated in the booking confirmation. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse any booking, which, in its opinion, is unsuitable for the property concerned.

liability

The Management Company will not accept responsibility for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience, directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the use of the property, plumbing, gas, electrical or otherwise, and exceptional weather conditions. Further, no responsibility is accepted for the personal belongings, car, and its contents of the hirer or any member of the party during the holiday.

complaints

If the hirer considers that he/she has cause for complaint concerning a property, the matter should be taken up with the Villa Manager who in turn will notify The Management Company. In such cases, if The Management Company considers the complaint valid, a partial refund may be offered. This will have to be discussed and approved by the relevant villa owner and may take several weeks to finalize. No liability shall arise beyond the refund of the monies paid. The Management Company will not entertain claims lodged by the hirer upon departure or after return home when it is no longer possible to investigate the complaint effectively.
